Former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh and son of Mulayam Singh Yadav, Akhilesh Yadav said his father was in Medanta Hospital in Gurgaon when he breathed his last. According to the source, the veteran politician was in the intensive care unit for the last many days. Mulayam Singh Yadav was 82 years old at the time of his passing. He was born on 22nd November 1939. He was best known as the founder of the Samajwadi Party. He was a former wrestler but later he surged to fame and prominence when he kicked start his political career during the 1970s. Mulayam Singh Yadav was an MP from Mainpuri.
