As per the report in The Sun that Rosie – carer, thought that Jamal who is the minor boy in her care, was a child refugee who had fled Afghanistan. He was almost a decade older than what she had been told he was.
Rosie had allowed Jamal into her family after social workers told her that he was an orphan.
Later, Rosie discovered the real age of minor boy – Jamal only when she took him to the dentist for a check up, where the doctor said that the boy was much older than he claimed, after which an investigation was launched.
The police found that Jamal had stored Taliban and child abuse material on his mobile phone during the investigation.
