So this year also like every year on this International Women’s Day, some famous personalities wishes the nation and also convey their greetings to the netizens on this social site.

“On International Women’s Day, greetings to women in India and across our planet,” the President Ram Nath Kovind writes on his social media account.

From the respected President of India, Ram Nath Kovind, to the honorable Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi, from the megastar Amitabh Bachchan to the Indian batsman Virat Kohli, everybody conveys their greetings on this International Women’s Day.

The President said in his tweet on this International Women’s Day, that, women are the inspiration for their families and also for the country who provide stability to the society.

The President urged people to work for a future and he also emphasized on this that woman has the right to dream and fulfill their desire anyway. He also said that each woman is worth enough to make their dream come true.

The Honourable Prime Minister, Narendra Modi also extending greetings on this occasion and event, he stated, that India is moving from the development of women to women-led development which obviously catches plenty of the eyeballs.

The Prime Minister also used hashtag ‘SheInspiresMe’, that is what trending on Twitter, and urged people to write about women who inspired them.

“They continue to inspire generations. I urge you to write about some women who inspire you. #SheInspiresMe,” the Prime Minister tweeted and shared his thought.

The Indian batsman Virat Kohli also extended his wishes and greetings on this women’s day. Virat Kohli shared a video message and in his video message, Kohli stated about how the saying ‘men and women are equal’ doesn’t really fit in the current scenario as women end up doing a lot more which men are doing for our society. Here’s the 29-year-old’ message:

“Men and women aren’t equal, I really wish we were. Honestly, the fact is it’s easier to be one than the other. Sexual harassment, discrimination, sexism, domestic abuse and threats of violence, and the list goes on…

“Despite all of this, women rise and shine in all walks of life. Still, think they are equal? No, they are better than equal. To all the women, all around the world, I wish you all a very happy Women’s Day”, Kohli said in his message which goes viral on the social site and on the internet.

Virat Kohli’s wife and the movie actress Anushka also convey her greetings on this International Women’s Day and she writes the message on her Twitter account, on the occasion of Women’s Day. “Every step makes a difference when you believe in something strongly and do your bit. It might not show immediately but the results to create a ripple and an impact. To all the women fighting for what they believe in, don’t give up !! Happy #WomensDay”, Anushka tweeted.

The International Women’s Day is annually held on March 8 which rejoices the women’s achievements throughout history in this whole world.

International Women’s Day is also regarded as the United Nations (UN) Day for Women’s Rights and International Peace.
