Harnaaz Kaur Sandhu has marked her name, being an Indian, in the history of Miss Universe. She has honoured India as she has become the third personality to win the title of Miss Universe from India. She has won the title of Miss Universe on Monday, 12th December 2021. Earlier, Sushmita Sen and Lare Dutta became the Indias to win the competition of Miss Universe in the year 1994 and 2000 respectively. Harnaaz Kaur Sandhu has won the 70th Editionof Miss Universe competition. She has made all the Indias feel proud.

As far as her journey is considered; Gurucharan Singh Sandhu, father, and Amrit Kaur Sandhu, mother, always supported her in each and every stage of her life on her way to achieving her dreams. She also worked hard as a result she became the Femina Miss India Punjab 2019 in the initial stage of her career. Later, she was selected as one of the top 20 Divas in India from Chandigarh. In the final round of the competition, she was pronounced the winner as the Miss Diva India 2021.
Thereafter, she was sent for the competition of Miss Universe, held in Eliat, Israel on Sunday, December 12, 2021. Out of the 80 participants; Harnaaz Kaur Sandhu from India was crowned as the winner of the Miss Universe 2021. Nadia Ferreira from Paraguay and Lalela Mswane from South Africa became the first runner-up and the second runner-up respectively in this competition. India is feeling proud to have another winner in the Miss Universe competition.
Who is Harnaaz Kaur Sandhu?
She is the titleholder of the Miss Universe 2021 competition at the age of 21 years. Apart from being Miss Universe, she has been entitled as the Femina Miss India Punjab 2019 and Miss Diva India 2021. She was born in Guruharsahai, India in a Sikh family. The name of her parents is Gurucharan Singh Sandhu and Amrit Kaur Sandhu. She was born on March 3, 2000. She completed her schooling at Kalia Public School in Guruharsahai and her later studies at a Government College for Girls in Guruharsahai, Punjab, India. She is said to be familiar with Punjabi, Hindi, and English Language.
As per the news sources, she has become the third personality to win the title of Miss Universe from India after Sushmita Sen and Lara Dutta. On the account of being the Miss Universe 2021, she is set to reside in New York City As she has to be a part of various events all across the world.
