Hizbul Mujahideen ‘assures safety’ to Amarnath pilgrims in 15-minute WhatsApp clip

Ostensibly and Purportedly released, A new audio, by Hizbul Mujahideen, has released which surfaced in Srinagar to make sure that the Amarnath pilgrims they have nothing to fear as long as they visit Kashmir because visiting Kashmir is regarded as the fulfilling of religious duties which is very sacred duty anyway.

The voice is of the Riyaz Naikoo, the commander of the terror group. But the authenticity of the voice clip is yet not confirmed till now.

The 15-minute clip, which is circulated on the WhatsApp, carried Naikoo’s picture.

This was welcomed by the Kashmiri Pandits back to their ancestral homes but warned against any plan to settle here as this is regarded as the separate settlements for them in the Valley.

“Our fight is only against India’s occupation of Jammu and Kashmir. We have nothing against the people of India or Amarnath pilgrims who come here for religious reasons. However, they should not connect the pilgrimage to the political issue of Kashmir,” Naikoo said.

The Hizbul commander also told about the pilgrims that they don’t need to worry about their safety and they can also visit Kashmir without security as nobody will be harm pilgrimage here at the amaranth yatra or in the Kashmir.

“We have hundreds of thousands of Biharis (non locals) who come to Kashmir as laborers or beggars and are found in every nook and corner of the Valley. Has there been any instance of them being harassed in so many years? Their girls and young women can be seen begging but no one has been ever touched,” he told further.
