Honor India has hosted an event yesterday, on 29th January 2019 at Gurgaon to officially present the first appearance of its flagship smartphone that is “Honor View 20”, in the market. Earlier in the month of December, the smartphone was first launched in China last year, followed by a global launch in China previous this month.

Features
The Honor View 20 operates on Android 9.0 Pie operating system with MagicUI 2.0.1 on top. The latest handset also features Yoyo virtual assistant.
The dual-SIM device utilizes AI-based GPS technology using dual-band technology for additional precise setting. Talking about its sensors, it includes an accelerometer, proximity sensor, ambient light sensor, gyroscope as well as digital compass. The fingerprint sensor is positioned on the back of the device.
Talking about its connectivity then it comprises of options such as Bluetooth v5.0, dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (2.4GHz and 5GHz), GPS/ A-GPS and USB Type-C. The Link Turbo technology lets the smartphone to switch among data and Wi-Fi on its own.

As per its two different variants, it comprises of 6GB and 8GB RAM. The internal storage comprises of 128GB and 256GB as per its variants and it can be further expanded through a microSD card slot.
This smartphone supports GPU Turbo 2.0 technology that provides backings to intense gaming sessions. It is supported by a 4,000mAh battery which will also provide you the fast charging support (4.5V/5A).
Design
The Honor View 20 comprises of a 6.4-inch TFT LCD display using full HD+ (1080 x 2310 pixels) resolution. The aspect ratio of the display 19.5:9 and also screen-to-body ratio comprises of 91.82 per cent. The pixel density of the design of the device is 398ppi.
A display hole is positioned on the top left edge of the device. The 4.5mm hole houses selfie camera along with the sensor.
The back section of the device sports a sleek shiny polished gradient finish with elongated edges for enhanced grip. The back camera arrangement is parallel lined up. The 6GB RAM variation will be accessible in Midnight Black and Sapphire Blue color available options. However the Moschino Co-Design version derives in Phantom Blue and Phantom Red color available options.
Camera
Talking about Honor View 20 camera, the new smartphone supports a 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 sensor with f/1.8 aperture also 960fps slow-motion video recording support, autofocus and AI HDR, as well as LED flash. Not only this, but it also supports a secondary 3D Time of Flight (ToF) sensor.

In China, the premium smartphone is priced at CNY 2,999 (approx. Rs 30,400) for the 6GB RAM/ 128GB storage variant. And for the 8GB RAM/ 128GB storage variant in China, it costs CNY 3,499 (approx. Rs 35,500).
