India strongly condemned twin terror attack in Kabul, Afghanistan

On Thursday, India strongly condemned the two terror attack in Kabul, Afghanistan killing more than a dozen people. India voiced its resolve to work with Afghanistan to bring the perpetrators of terrorist violence to justice.

The Indian Government has been a victim of terrorist violence and understands the suffering and pain of the people of Afghanistan.

In a statement, External Affair Ministry said that we strongly condemned the terror attack in Kabul. Afghanistan is suffering from terror. We reiterate our resolve to work with Afghanistan to bring the perpetrators of terrorist violence to the justice they deserve wherever they may be.

Further, the ministry said that it also conveyed condolences to the people and the Government of Afghanistan for the loss of lives and property in yesterday’s blast.

The attacks struck Kabul, the capital of Afghanistan around noon on Wednesday. A suicide car bomber targeted a police station in western Kabul in the first attack. This attack was followed by a gun battle between the police and several attackers.

A suicide bomber detonated explosives outside offices of the intelligence service in eastern Kabul in the second attack in a day.
