B-Town actress Priyanka chopra is talk of the town now days for her upcoming film Dil Dhadakne Do. The film is slated to release this June. The actress forthcoming TV series of US “Quantico” trailer unveiled and well received by audiences, but it is not enough to calm her nerves about the American TV show. The upcoming TV program is all set to air from this September.

PC will be seen playing role of a FBI agent who is half American and half Indian. Regarding her role she speaks to press, “I hope people like it and it does well. But, it’s still new to me and I’m not sure if the world is ready for it”. “I’m very nervous about the show”. The actress added further.
She also addressed the unfair stereotypical trend observed in international entertainment industry with regard to Indian talent. “Indian talent always been put in a stereotype box, well in fact we are such a huge population of America. I was also told initially that have a little more of an Indian accent and I would say but this is an Indian accent. We don’t like Apu from the “Simpsons”. And I hate that they put us in this box – which we only eat curry and all are heena and bindi. We are so much more than that”.
She clears her meeting discussion with ABC team about the show and share with press, “When ABC came to me with “Quantico”, I told them I want to be taken seriously as an actor, which should nothing to with my ethnicity. I am half Indian and half American in the show. But, the fact that I am Indian has nothing to do with the story”.
The Bollywood diva hopes that the series will change the prospects for Indians globally. “I hope “Quantico” opens a lot more doors for the Indian talent, not just in acting but for musicians and directors as well”.
Her role is very bold in the series and the show will be showing some sexual scenes of the actress. About this Indian actress stated, “Indian cinema today shows more than that”.
The hot scene was necessary for the project, so she said yes to it. 32 years old actress shows her flawless performance in Bollywood till now. Now she will do the same in Hollywood. So let just wait and watch for this multi talented diva.
