Watch #ISL 2016 (Indian Super League) Opening Ceremony Highlights Images Photos Video :- Indian Super League 3 is all set to take off in the Guwahati with a thunderbolt clash between the old rivals Northeast United FC and Kerala Blasters on October 1, 2016. But, before any action will commence on the football ground a grand carnival will be celebrated.



An opening ceremony of ISL will be in highlight which is expected to be the grand like its previous editions. A grand gala is a guarantee that will be embraced by the presence of top Bollywood actors and actress and numbers of a big sports person. Even experts are believing the celebration of the ISL will be bigger than IPL thanks to the signing of the big reputed player in the last two seasons.

The ISL has signed big names in recent two years like Brazilian World Cup-winner Lucio, Former Atletico Madrid and Manchester United star Diego Forlan, former Liverpool and AS Roma star John Arne Riise and ex-Chelsea midfielder Florent Malouda. And, with such big names in the competition a grand celebration is quite obvious.

The opening ceremony will begin with the cultural art of India and it will be followed by According to the sources, Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt, and Jacquelin Fernandes will spread their magic with the sizzling performances along with the other 500 performances.


This celebration will be cheered by the Kerala Blasters FC co-owner Sachin Tendulkar, Chennaiyin FC co-owner Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Mumbai City FC co-owner Ranbir Kapoor and NorthEast United owner John Abraham.


Nita Ambani, founder, and chairperson of ISL will embrace the event by her presence.


Meanwhile, the event will also witness the Rio Olympic’s silver medallist PV Sindhu.


The opening ceremony of the third edition of the ISL will be the home venue for NorthEast United. John Abraham, the owner of the NorthEast United said ” It is a proud and honor for me to host the opening ceremony. The people of the Northeast region of people always supported their home team and the whole tournament and I hope this ceremony will grab a lot of attention from every corner of the India and will motivate them to join the football and eventually, this sport will groom in the different part of the India.”

The opening ceremony will be started at 6:00 Pm in the Indira Gandhi Athletic Stadium and it will be aired on the Star Sports Network.
