iPad Mini 5 to be launched in 2019: Everything you need to know: According to a report of ‘China Times’, Apple is expected to launch the iPad Mini 5 in the starting of the coming year 2019. The report also revealed that iPad Mini 5 will be launched along with a refreshed entry-level 10-inch iPad in 2019. The last model of iPad Mini came out at 2015 that was a fourth generation model.

The report says that iPad Mini will be involved in mass production before the end of December and will launch in the first half of 2019.

Since 2015, Apple has not launched a refreshed model of iPad Mini. It was believed that Apple has discontinued manufacturing the model. The 2015’s Model is still selling in the market of India. This model series has mostly been loved by the users preferring a low cost tablet with a compact size.

It is clear that Apple will bring new design to the iPad Mini 5. The iPad Mini 5 can have same bezel-less treatment as the iPad Pro but due to its low cost and ease of mobility, the model may to have features of Face Identification. The iPad Mini 5 is still selling in the market at price of Rs 34,900 with 128 GB internal storage.

The reports also say that the entry-level 10-inch iPad will be launched in the second half of the 2019. Same as iPad Mini, this iPad may also not have the Face Identification feature and next generation chipset. The Apple will give the iPad a new design from the 9.7-inch model. It is likely to reduce the bezels that will offer a big 10-inch display for the same. It is said that the tablet will use Apple Pencil 2.  By looking at the reports, it is expected that the price of 10-inch iPad could be similar to the previous version at Rs 26,320.

It is said that both the iPads will increase the sale to another level. The report says that Apple will reduce cost in its upcoming models and to achieve this, Apple has turned to the cheap LED Display from South Korea.
