Highlights of the launch
- Jawa and Jawa Forty Two would be coming in total 9 different colour variants.
- Jawa would come in 3 colours while Jawa Forty Two would come in 6 different colours.
- The factory Custom model, Perak (Grey Custom bike), Will be launched latter on a different date.
- The company has started the bookings in Rs 5,000
Some of the spy shots gave us the details about the bike. It is a competitor of Royal Enfield and will be having a classic body design. The Jawa motorcycle will be competing with Royal Enfield, Bajaj Dominar 400, Honda CBR, etc.
The company is introducing three new motorcycles- Jawa, Jawa Forty Two and Perak. Jawa Forty Two is priced at Rs 1.55 lakh whereas the retro-looking Jawa is priced 1.64 Lakh and The Perek at Rs 1.89 Lakh. Jawa Motorcycles Launched In India; Prices Start At ₹ 1.55 Lakh
These bikes would be sold under Mahindra owned ‘Classic Legend pvt Ltd’ which is the subsidiary of Mahindra group. The company has itself revealed that the motorcycle will run on the 293 cc single-cylinder liquid cooled DOHC motor tuned for 27 bhp and 28 Nm of peak torque. The engine has been developed from the ground up through collaboration between the group’s R&D centre in Pune and technical centre in Varese, Italy
Jawa Motorcycled in its recent tweet said that about 64 dealership and free rides would be available in early December. Jawa Motorcycle tweeted today, “105 dealers planned across cities that sell the most motorcycles. 64 dealerships and test rides will be open early December. #Jawa #JawaMotorcycles #JawaIsBack”
