JEE Main 2020 Application to start from 2nd September

JEE Main 2020 examination will be conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). It is a national level entrance examination which is conducted two times in a year – January and April session. Through JEE Main examination candidates get admission in various courses like B.Tech, B.Arch and B.E. Admission will be offered in IIT’s, NIT’s, CFIT’s and private engineering institutions.

Application Form:

Application form for JEE Main 2020 January session will be started from 2nd September 2019 through online mode. For April session, application form will be available in the second week of February 2020. Candidates can pay their application fee through credit card, debit card, net banking or e-challan of SBI bank. Fee will be paid as per the category of candidates.

Eligibility:

To be eligible for JEE Main 2020, candidates will have to pass their 10th and 12th class examination from any recognized board. There will be no age limit criteria to apply. Candidates must pass their qualifying examination with Physics and Mathematics subjects along with anyone from Biology, Biotechnology and Chemistry.

Examination Pattern:

JEE Main 2020 entrance examination will be held through online mode (CBT). The drawing test in paper II will be held through offline mode. Examination will be conducted for two papers – Paper I will be held for B.Tech/ B.E. courses and Paper II will be held for B.Arch/ B. Plan courses. Questions will be asked based on the 11th & 12th level syllabus.

Admissions:

Admit card will be released in the third week of December 2019 for January session. For April session admit card will be released in the third week of March 2020. Candidates can download their admit card through online mode.

Result will be announced through online mode in the last week of January 2020 and for April session result will be announced in the last week of April 2020.

Counselling Procedure:

Candidates who will pass minimum cut off marks will be called for counselling procedure. Counselling will be conducted through online mode. Counselling procedure will be organized by JOSSA.

Seats will be allotted to the candidates based on various factors like the marks obtained in the test, availability of seats, etc. Candidates have to produce original documents for verification process.
