The upcoming crux of the TV reality show “Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 9” is yet to showcases that Shantanu Maheshwari will be seen impressing Karan Johar with his ‘JHINGAT’ act and his dancing act will earn him a title ‘TENNER’ from Kjo and the judge will actually appreciate him a lot.
Shantanu is all set to turn Dabbawala this week, and for his danced, he will earn points 10 from Karan Johar apart from having a standing ovation from the other participators!
Shantanu Maheshwari is touted as one of the audience’s hot favourite and popular contestants in this season of the dancing show. And in the tonight episode of the show, it is there will be a segment called ‘Regional Challenge’, in which Mr. Maheshwari will turn a Mumbaiyya Dabbawala and his choreographer Alisha, will be seen playing the role of the tourist.
The duo will be seen giving dance performance in the hit Marathi flick Sairat’s popular dancing number ‘Jhingat.’
A source shares, “This performance is Shantanu’s tribute to the city of Mumbai, which fulfilled all his dreams, which he had never even imagined, would really happen, after shifting here from Kolkata”.
The judges were mighty impressed with Shantanu’s act and the sources say that “Their Maharashtrian style performance was full of energy and totally awesome, which fetched them a standing ovation from the audience as well as the other contestants”!
Ganesh Hegde even mentioned that he felt like getting up and dance with Shantanu as his dancing were just spellbound.
Karan Johar, who absolutely loved his performance, said that, “Shantanu earned his 10 points from him for the amazing act”. Shantanu and Alisha scored a perfect 30 from the judges.
Sad news from the set of “Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 9” is coming that Shakti Arora will be saying good bye to the show tonight as he will be eliminated from the show this weekend. He did a traditional dance as his last performance. Shakti has been in the bottom three since many weeks and he indeed managed to save himself so many times but this weekend he fails to repeat the history.
Shakti, who rose to fame playing Ranveer in “Meri Aashiqui Tumse Hi”, was one of the first dancers of this season of the Jhalak. This is the first time when Shakti participated in dancing show after doing lots of the fiction shows.
This is a shocking news for the fans of Shakti as he not only managed to impress the panel judge team, in fact, he managed to impress the judges too.
