Dhanush and Vetrimaaran produced “Kaaka Muttai” a children’s movie received an outstanding opening in Tamil Nadu. The film did Rs. 3.37 crore collection which is big amount for any regional drama. The children film collected Rs. 90 lakh in its opening day gradually the amount increased Rs. 1.10 crore in its second day. Sunday was better, with the film earning Rs. 1.37 crore, taking its total three-day collection to Rs. 3.37 crore. In Chennai alone, it made Rs. 40 lakh.

Kaaka Muttai proved to be a surprised hit which amazed the Tamil Nadu public and critic as well. The film do not has a single Kollywood star except the fact is that, the Tamil superstar Dhanush producing it. A low budget children film seems that it will earn a huge profit for producer and the distributor.
No doubt the melodrama is getting competition from high budget films like Masss and Demont Colony, despite Kaaka Muttai performing very descent at the box office. Positive mouth publicity is helping the movie.

Kaaka Mutai is story of two slums kids who have a common desire to eat PIZZA. Two kids Naresh and Vaghnesh performed very well and Manikand directing it upto the mark. G.V. Prakash scored music of the film and Dhanuh and Simbhu guest appearance graced the film more.
