The Kannada language cinema ‘Ishtakamya’ is ready to hit theatre this week and the film has been directed by Nagathihalli Chandrashekhar, and apart from the Karnataka, the film will be release in the whole country.

The audio and trailer launch of the film was done at the Canara College here, which was a star studded affair. And the director Nagathihalli stated to media that, the film is based on the Kannada novel ‘Ishtakamya’ by Dodderi Venkatagiri Rao. The novel has been adapted for the big screen with some modifications in the screenplay added in the movie is as per the taste of the Kannada audiences.
The film will be released in 100 screens, including multiplexes in the native country apart from in the abroad, US, the UK and Paris. The film has English subtitles. It will have French subtitles in Paris, he noted. The film explains social relationships though it is a love story. Various angles of family life have been depicted in which the crucial point of society have the light and it showcase and explain that the marriage is an institution.
The film ‘Ishtakamya’ is making headlines since it has been launched, followed by the release of its teaser and trailer and all are well received by the audiences.
‘Ishtakamya’ is being directed by Nagatihalli and it features Vijay Surya, Mayuri and Kavya Shetty in lead roles with B Jayashree, Mandya Ramesh, Suman Nagarkar who roped to play the supporting roles.
