Latest Update British Labour MP Jo Cox Suspect Thomas Mair Arrested :- The 41 years old British Member of Parliament Jo Cox has been killed in the attack near Birstall Library, West Yorkshire in her Constituency on thursday.
The 41 years old Mrs. Jo Cox was the mother of two children.
Labour Member of Parliament of british Jo Cox has been shot three times and stabbed just before 1pm in Birstall in her Batley and Spen constituency.
Jo Cox was pronounced dead around an hour later, leaving her husband Brendan and two young children, aged 3 and 5.
The Plice of West Yorkshire have arrested a 52 years old man named as Tommy Mair.
An eyewitness said that Mrs. Jo Cox was shot three times – once near the head – and stabbed multiple times. The assailant, Tommy Mair, shouted “Britain first” as he was attacking Jo Cox. The Assailant kicked her after she lying on the floor.
Mrs. Jo Cox is a rising star in the party and she was elected last year. The Member of Parliament of all parties have been sending their condolences.
Jo Cox was born in Batley, England and she was elected in the year 2015.
Jo Cox was educated at Heckmondwike Grammar School. The staff of School said that they were very shocked at such incidents and very sad at the death of Mrs. Jo Cox.
Mrs. Jo Cox was known of her contribution to local and national democracy and of her determined, caring campaigning for the world’s disadvantaged.
Mrs Jo Cox graduated from Cambridge University in 1995 and went on to become head of policy at Oxfam.
Jo Cox was born on 22 June 1974. Her mother was a school secretary and her father worked in a toothpaste and hairspray factory.
