Design:

Lenovo Zuk Z1 is available in two color variants i.e white and space grey. It brags metallic back and frame but this metallic body lacks luster. Lenovo has preferred parent brand and this is the reason why we can’t see the logo of Lenovo anywhere over the handset. camera is located at the centre on the top accompanied by LED Flash below. Even though the case is not unibody still we can’t remove the battery from the smart phone. It is quite bulky thanks to its 175grams weight.

Talking about Moto G4 Plus then it also brags metallic display with rubber back cover. Rubber cover provides good hold over the handset while metallic rims provide it appealing looks. Unlike Zuk Z1 this handset is quite thin as it just measures 7.9mm in thickness and is quite light to hold. Instead of standard grill for the finger prints, Motorola has not opted for physical button instead it is slightly raised and hence can be founded by the touch alone and moreover it works well all the time.

Display:

Both Moto G4 Plus and Zuk Z1 sport 5.5” FHD Display delivering 401ppi pixel density, hence providing similar picture quality.

Software front:

Lenovo Zuk Z1 is powered by older 32 bit quad core Qualcomm snapdragon 801 processor clocked at the clock frequency of 2.5GHz. It is quite disappointing to have snapdragon 801 chipset as it has been two years since the launch of this chipset moreover nowadays mostly handsets come up with 64 bit chipset. It incorporates excellent Adreno 330 GPU to augment the graphics. Processor is combined along with 4GB of RAM and bears 64 GB of internal storage on the board while the memory is not further expandable. It operates on cyanogens OS 12.1 topped by android OS v5.1.1 Lollipop. Company was claiming that soon they will provide latest OS with Cyanogen OS 13 layered by android 6.0 Marshmallow update but the update is yet not available on OTA.

Moto G4 Plus runs on Octa core Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 617 chipset clocked at the clock frequency of 1.5GHz. Here processor is amalgamated along with 3GB of RAM and there is 32GB of memory on the board. One also gets the option to buy 2GB RAM variant with 16GB of storage on the board. It also operates on stock version of Android but here we have latest android 6.0 Marshmallow OS.

Both these smart phones run smoothly delivering hardly any lag while switching between the apps or multitasking. With Moto G4 Plus we have some heating issues while playing games or even using the data pack but that is not a big issue. Both handset offers decent animation while playing any game.

Camera:

Lenovo Zuk Z1 accommodates 13MP of camera at the rear along with Sony’s IMX 214 sensors and OIS feature and dual tone LED Flash. On front it mounts 8MP of shooter. Both the camera are capable of recording FHD videos @ the speed of 60 frames per second. Its camera proffers decent camera quality with all the useful toggles almost easily accessible to the users. We find only problem while clicking the pictures in the low light conditions.

Moto G4 Plus encompasses 16MP rear camera with f/2.0 aperture and Phase Detection Autofocus (PDAF) and laser auto focus. On front it entails 5MP of shooter along with f/2.2 aperture and auto HDR. Image quality in the new version is far better than what we have in its predecessor. Though when pictures are taken in artificial lights look good but when zoomed it delivers color noise.

Battery:

Lenovo Zuk Z1 houses 4100mAh battery at the back promising 13h 40 minutes of usage time which is quite impressive while in Moto G4 Plus bears 3000mAh battery at the rear delivering 12h and 4 minutes of usage time.
