Lok Sabha member and BJP MP from Madhya Pradesh’s Khandwa constituency, Nandkumar Singh Chauhan passed away on Tuesday morning during his ongoing treatment at Delhi’s Medanta Hospital, Gurugram since last month. He took his last breath around 9 AM. According to the sources, he was being treated for Covid-19 from January 11.
Nand Kumar Singh Chauhan Passes Away
The politician, Nandkumar Singh shifted to Delhi’s hospital nearly 20 days ago from Chirayu Hospital, Bhopal. His condition turned critical and shifted to Delhi’s hospital for better treatment. The actual reason behind his death is not cleared. But as per the reports, his lungs were badly damaged due to the contraction of the Coronavirus.
Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi expressed his sadness over the Lok Sabha Member, Nandkumar Singh Chauhan. He tweeted,” Saddened by the demise of Lok Sabha MP from Khandwa Shri Nandkumar Singh Chauhan Ji. He will be remembered for his contributions to Parliamentary proceeding, organizational skills, and efforts to strengthen the BJP across Madhya Pradesh. Condolences to his family. Om Shanti”.
Nandkumar Singh Chauhan had a family of four people including him, his wife, a son, and two daughters. His last rites will happen at his familial place Shahpur in Burharpur district, Madhya Pradesh on Wednesday.
Along with Prime Minister, many politicians expressed their sorrow over Chauhan’s death. Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister took Twitter and said,” Reputable, Nandu Bhaiya Popular politician, gave his best to the party as the state BJP president. His mortal remains will reach his ancestral village today. I offer my tributes to him”.
Nandkumar Singh Chauhan became a member of the 16th Lok Sabha and 17th Lok Sabha of India. He was elected for the Khandwa constituency of Madhya Pradesh and a member of the Bhartiya Janta Party. He won against Arun Subhaschandra Yadav in the Lok Sabha election of 2019. He gave his last service in Bhartiya Janta Party till 18th April 2018.
He will be remembered by his loved one. He was a great politician and leader. May God Bless His Soul.
