New Mahindra U321 MPV launch in India Q1, 2018 Specs, Images, Price, Interior: – The Mahindra and Mahindra, India’s largest utility vehicle maker are planning to launch two new models of the car in the India. The Indian market will be all set to witness the new car Mahindra U321 MPV at end of FY 2018.
The first of these 2 new cars is the all-new Mahindra U321 MPV, on the other side the Mahindra S201 compact is called the SUV.

The Managing Director of Mahindra and Mahindra, Mr. Pawan Goenka had already confirmed that the U321 MPV is all set to launch in India by the end of FY2017-18.
Furthermore, he also said about the Mahindra S201 compact SUV (Ssangyong Tivoli based) is going to start on by end 2018 or at early 2019. The company plans to make stronger its market position which can totally utilize the company and its position.
The company has recently lost some of its market share to Maruti Suzuki which is not good for the company anyway.
Speaking about the forthcoming car launches, the Managing Director – Mahindra and Mahindra, had revealed, “We have two products coming in the next two years. One is the U321 (code name) multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) which has been developed on the new global platform developed here in Detroit. It will come out this financial year.”
The new Mahindra U321 is all set to compete against the Tata Hexa and the Toyota Innova Crysta. Actually, Mahindra is bench-marking the U321 MPV against the Innova Crysta as the car spotted testing very recently alongside the Innova Crysta. Mahindra TUV300 Plus
The car is all set to power by a new 1.6-litre diesel engine which is all set to arrive, mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox.
Mr. Pawan Goenka also stated, “ the Second one is S 201 which is based on SsangYong platform Tivoli. The company has also about these both vehicles that it is going to be first launching is in India, while the company can also consider launching these cars in some of the international markets too for the proper promotion.
About this electric vehicles, Pawan Goenka also stated further that the company currently plans to establish four models from its current portfolio before the electric product will be launched.
Mr. Goenka added further, “Though we are investing in future projects, right now, the focus would be on these four products and generate some volume for us. A new product probably would come in about two years.” That said, Mahindra has a market share of 8 percent in the domestic market, while the company sells nearly 18,000 passenger vehicles per month in India. “Last couple of years, we have not grown market share, but similarly, we haven’t lost either. Clearly, every company will wish to grow its market share and for that, we need to ensure our current products continue to do well and bring in volumes”.
