Mahindra: Launched petrol variant of XUV500 with Automatic Transmission at ₹15.49 Lakhs

Mahindra & Mahindra launched a new petrol variant of XUV500. Reports are coming that this new model is quite good and everybody is quite happy with it. As per the reports, company’s new variant of its premium SUV, the XUV500 is launched this last Tuesday. The petrol-powered XUV500 is available in a single ‘G AT’ variant priced at Rs.15.49 lacs and is available in selected cities with immediate effect.

As per the reports, newly-launched XUV500 G AT variant is powered by the indigenously developed 2.2-litre mHawk petrol engine that generates 140PS and 320Nm of torque. Also, the motor comes mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission sourced from AISIN, Japan. The gearbox also includes the creep function and a manual mode option. The MD of the company said, “Since its launch, the XUV500 has been a trendsetter in the premium SUV segment with a great value proposition plus head-turning style and a plethora of hi-tech features. The introduction of the XUV500 G AT petrol variant will excite consumers who have been eagerly awaiting a petrol option. The G AT variant delivers impressive performance that has come to be synonymous with the XUV500.”

Well, also some other parts of this car are same as Mahindra XUV500 G AT variant comes with intelligent light sensing and static bending headlamps. The variant also gets keyless entry and push-button start along with a 7-inch touchscreen system with multiple connectivity options including Android Auto. Other key features include automatic temperature control, 8-way adjustable driver seat, rain sensing wipers and cruise control. Electronic stability program (ESP) with rollover mitigation, antilock braking system (ABS) with electronic brake force distribution (EBD), dual airbags and tire-tropics are among the safety features of the new variant.
