Mumbai Farmer Long March LIVE Updates: Around 35,000 Farmer Protesting!: – Well, over 35,000 Farmer marched towards Maharashtra Vidhan Sabha in Mumbai and protesting for their demands. All India Kisan Sabha protest and that began from the from Nashik on Tuesday, March 6, reached Mumbai today. Also, the reports are saying that the farmers are seeking a complete loan waiver among other demands. All, these Farmer posted they’re protested for their demands.
Also, the reports are coming that, Mumbai has been called off after the farmers reached an agreement with the Devendra Fadnavis government. Also, the sources are saying that the government has agreed to give a written draft of the solutions to their concerns within the next two months. People are saying that a 12 member delegation of the protesting farmers had met a six-member government committee.

7:05 PM: After Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis accepted the demands of the farmers, the protest has now been called off.
We’ve had a positive meeting with farmers in which all their demands were discussed. They had around 12-13 demands out of which we’ve accepted some & will be giving them a written draft of it. Even, as a statement by Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis angered the farmers further and the protest is about to end as soon as it reached Mumbai. A statement on the floor of the Assembly, Fadnavis said 95% of those camping at Mumbai’s Azad Maidan are tribals and “technically” not farmers. Farmer leaders have called the statement a lie, accusing the government of trying to “discredit” the protest.
Also, some reports are suggesting that BJP MP Poonam Majahan called the protesting farmers “urban Maoists”. Hitting back, Left leader MB Rajesh advised her to “read the newspapers”. As you all may know that the farmers, who have banded together under the Left-affiliated All India Kisan Sabha (AIKS), reached Mumbai yesterday afternoon after a grueling 180km journey from Nashik to Mumbai.
