Mumbai on High Alert : Bomb Threat Call to Taj Hotel Airport : Mumbai is on high alert because of the the terror threat calls. The police deployment has been increased after the airport manager at the international airport received an anonymous call on the bomb threat.
According to some sources the Airport authorities on Monday night received the threatening call at 11:45 pm on Monday and the caller informed that the Airport as well as the Taj Hotel will be targeted by four to five suicide bombers. his call was an internet call. He also disclosed his mail e-mail identity and his phone number to the airport officials.
Threat caller also told officials that the group allegedly discussed that the impact of these serial blasts might be bigger than 26/11. The security officials as well as the local police have been on their toes since morning.
Bomb threat assessment committee of Mumbai airport has termed the call as ‘specific threat’. There has been no confirmation whether flights’ schedule has been changed.
