Nawazuddin Siddiqui refutes Sister-In-Law’s Allegation of harassment, claims it a ploy :- Once again, Bollywood actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui is involved in a controversy. Now, It is alleged that he harassed his sister-in-law and an FIR is filed against him on Sunday. At a recent press conference, actor refuted all allegations. According to Nawazuddin Siddiqui – it is all a ploy for publicity.
Siddiqui said that I am falsely charged by my sister-in-law because I am a soft target for her and she could have easily made the news out of me. I’m an actor so, that could also be a reason for her allegations. Actor Siddiqui explained the whole incident and said that On the night of 28th September, my sister-in-law’s uncle and his wife came at our place with a proper plan of robbery.
They entered room of Minazuddin to meet him. Then we heard a noise and we all ran to see what exactly happened. The moment I reached, I saw the uncle of my sister-in-law was rushing towards the main door with Afreen (sister-in-law). I did not have any conversation with her nor I touched her.
As per the, they are our relatives, so we never thought of taking the matter to the police. Humare yahan kitne bhi bade ladai ya jhagde hote hain, ya kisi bhi tarah ki koi baat ho jaye, buzurg log baith ke sort kar lete hain.
He further said that I still would call them our relatives, I would want her to come back, and I will try to reach an out-of-court settlement. The police is investigating the case, and whatever they conclude, I will agree with that.
The actor said that the case is being investigated by the police and he is glad that he had the CCTV footage with him to prove his innocence.
In the month of January 2016, for allegedly assaulting a woman over a parking dispute, an FIR was registered against the Bollywood actor. The manager of actor denied the incident and said that the police registered the complaint without verification.
