Apple has recently come up with new 9.7” iPad which is considered as the most affordable iPad to date. It is recently launched in India at the price of just INR 28,000 and comes along with Apple pencil. It is the linear successor of iPad 5th Gen which was launched last year. It includes all the necessary specs which are required to make a tablet best in the market. It offers the chipset which is used in iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 plus, apple pencil support which is provided along with iPad Pro and access to more than 200,000 educational apps and 1,000,000 tablets optimized app in apple store and that too just at the price of INR 28,000, what can be a better deal than this?

Unboxing the new 9.7-inch Apple iPad

It boasts 9.7” retina display with new A10 Fusion processor which they have taken from iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. With iOS 11.3 as the operating system, it has been made in such a way that it can be used as an effective tool for learning. A10 Fusion chipset enables the iPad to easily run applications based on augmented reality. A10 offers 15 times of speed as that of Apple A9 chipset which is present in Apple A9.

With hexa core graphics on board, apps can be launched easily and one has augmented the experience of music, photos, and movies. The difference would be evident in case you are doing a lot of productivity or creative work instead of just surfing the net.

It mounts 8 MP camera at the rear with a 1.2MP camera at the front. It may not sound great but is good for occasional, casual use taking everyday photos in a well-lit environment. Touch ID is placed on the front just like it was in the first generation.

One significant addition to new iPad 2018 is the Apple pencil support which costs INR 7,600 in the Indian market. It includes pressure sensors with the lithium-ion battery which can be charged by the lightning port of the iPad. There are no buttons on the Pencil and it works as a stylus for the display.

There are two variants available for iPAd 2018: Only Wifi model is the cheapest model available at the price of INR 28,000 with 32 GB as internal memory and tab with 128 GB of internal memory is available at the price of INR 35,700.

Apple has also presented Wifi plus cellular model which is priced at INR 38,600 for 32GB variant and INR 43,600 for 128GB variant. It is available in both offline as well as online market. If you are opting for online mode then same can be purchased via flipkart.

It would be launched in other countries in April and in other region including South Korea in the month of May.
