Previous week, Flipkart had announced that it has entered into a partnership with Nokia in order to launch Nokia-branded Smart TVs in India. Apart from approving that the Nokia Smart TV is going to come with JBL audio, Flipkart on the other hand did not disclose any thing much about the upcoming television.

In the meantime, a new report also claims that the Nokia TV is going to sport a 55-inch 4K display as well as this has also been also confirmed through a certification by BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards).
There’s been also a latest report given by The Times of India which states that the Nokia-branded Smart TV that is going to make its debut in India will bring a 55-inch screen along with the 4K UHD LED panel.

On the other hand, the Nokia TV is also going to run on Android 9.0 as well as it will support Google Play Store. This in other terms means that the Android TV is going to give you access to a number of apps on the Play Store which will also comprise of popular streaming platforms.
At the same time, the report further adds that the Nokia TV is going to come with an Intelligent Dimming technology that will provide better contrast, deeper blacks as well as an overall better display quality. In addition to that you can also expect the Nokia-branded Smart TV to come with streaming apps such as Netflix, Prime Video and many much more preloaded.

Well, right now we don’t have a precise date of the launch for the Nokia TV, but at the same time it is expected to get launch in early month of December. On the other hand, the Nokia TV is likely to launch with a reasonable price tag in order to take on Xiaomi’s Mi TV, OnePlus TV as well as Motorola TV in India. Flipkart on the other hand also said that it is aiming Tier-2 as well as Tier-3 cities in order to strengthen its presence in the TV segment.
