On Sunday, two persons raped an Israeli woman, the local police said.
The victim in her complaint said that last night she was waiting for a cab when another taxi offered her a lift.
The police said that she found six persons in the vehicle and two of them sexually assaulted her.
According to reports that the medical examination of the victim has been conducted and the reports has been send to Mandi for expert opinion.
Police said that the case is registered under the section 376(Rape) of Indian Penal Code(IPC) and the investigations is underway.
A massive manhunt has been launched by the Himachal Police. The efforts are on to identify the accused and the vehicle.
The raped victim is not familiar with the place. She did not have much idea or information about the vehicle and the accused.
The police officer said that the Himachal Pradesh police is hopeful of nabbing the culprits as CCTV cameras have been installed in the entire area. The police also added that the CCTV footage is being scanned.
