They have been seen in three films — Om Shanti Om, Chennai Express and Happy New Year together that rocked and if things fall into it’s places well, Deepika Padukone and Shah Rukh Khan will come together once again for Aanand L Rai’s untitled venture.
“Talks are almost over and she is expected to ink the movie soon,” states the source. The movie in the subject is doing rounds with a buzz even before it rolls in the cinemas as SRK essays a role of a dwarf for the first time ever. However, Rai has made it apparent that it will be a full-fledged love saga with a lot of passion, song-and-dance. While rumors were rife that Katrina Kaif had been proposed for the film but it’s Deepika who will be on board insists some sources.
Beforehand, Rai, who has coiled up with two films including Kangana Ranaut (Tanu Weds Manu and its sequel), decided to deal with her rival DP for his immense airing. The filmmaker is acknowledged to do female-centric flicks and that’s why he’s on the bucket list of top divas looking to add something good to their resume.
Although at the trailer launch event of Happy Bhaag Jayegi, when Anand was questioned about the movie and the star cast , he had said,
Yes, I am making a film with Shah Rukh Khan. However, the actress has not been finalized yet. I am also writing the script till now.”
Seems like he is trying to keep the cast under the wraps!
