OnePlus 6 HydrogenOS update: selfie portraits & battery percentage icon

Well, if you are using OnePlus 6 then you all should know that another update is going to hit your phone. Yes! You are reading it right, after the official launch of OnePlus 6 last month which is running on the latest version of OxygenOS, the company rolled out its first update and which came out with the notch hiding support and slow-motion video support. Now, the reports are coming that the company is all set to come up with the 2nd update to make you all amazed for sure.

As per the reports, the company has released the HydrogenOS in China for the One Plus 6 which is the version 5.1.6. This new update will bring some new features such as a selfie portrait mode photo support, and a battery percentage icon on the phone’s status bar. Also, some other bugs are also removed by the company with this new update. You all are going to love this new update if you are a selfie lover.

Also, the sources are saying that the features will also reach the OxygenOS soon since the company has already promised it in a post on the OnePlus forum. Some sources are saying that the new update will also come up with game optimization. Also, the company is going to provide LTE data switch between SIM cards along with system power and performance optimizations.

As you all may know that OnePlus already promised a lot of updates for the users and software cleanups. Some reports are saying that OnePlus chose to remove the ‘always-on display’ feature from the OnePlus 6 just before launching the phone, but the company might just bring it back. They will be bringing it back with Android P beta. Some of you already know that OnePlus has also launched a Marvel Avengers Limited Edition OnePlus 6 which has been priced at Rs 44,990.
