Pak-American Women used Bitcoin to fund IS: Well, reports are coming straight from the America where the police have arrested Pakistani-American woman as she was using Bitcoin to finance the Islamic State terror group. Yes! The reports are coming that she has admitted it and in a federal court and claimed that she as funding the terror group from a long time. Reports are coming that Zoobia Shahnaz, 27, made the admission before Judge Joanna Seybert in the Central Islip federal court in New York state on Monday.

Overall, in the whole argument she admitted to committing credit card and loan fraud to raise money and after that, she converted that money into Bitcoin and then transferred them to the Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham (ISIS), which is designated as a terrorist organization by the US government. You all should know that it is an offensive crime and now she is going to spend some quality time in the FBI jail.

Even, the reports are coming that she is going to spend the next 20 years in prison when she is sentenced. You all might know that the Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are virtual computer-generated currencies that are difficult for governments to monitor and can be exchanged for cash beyond borders. Shahnaz was arrested in July 2017 by the Joint Terrorism Task Force (JTTF) as she was getting ready to go from a New York airport to Pakistan and travel from there to Syria via Turkey.

Reports are coming that she wasn’t able to fly away and authorities arrested her. William Sweeney, the Federal Bureau of Investigation Assistant Director-in-Charge, said,  “In the interest of empowering and enriching a terrorist organization whose aim is to harm America, Zoobia Shahnaz turned her back on her country and her fellow citizens.” Overall, she is under arrest and we are expecting that some other people who are involved will get arrested soon.
