Periyar University has announced the results of the November 2019 undergraduate and postgraduate (UG/PG) examinations on January 6, 2020. The result has been declared after being postponed from January 1, to now. The authorities have not cited any reason behind the delay. Students who have appeared for the November Exams 2019 for either postgraduate or undergraduate programmes, can check their results by logging onto the official website of the university i.e. periyaruniversity.ac.in.

- Visit the official website of Periyar University i.e. periyaruniversity.ac.in.
- Click on ‘Periyar University Result 2019’ link available on the home page
- A new page will open, enter the required details
- Click on ‘submit’
- Download your result and take a print out for further reference.
A detailed mark sheet can be obtained from the university or college administration later.
After the result declaration, students can request for exam revaluation, re-checking on the PU website for at least 10 days. Meanwhile, Periyar University has released the Ph.D. common entrance test application form on the official website. On December 31, they have also issued the time table of the PRIDE exams.
Periyar University was established by the state government at Salem in Tamil Nadu on September 17, 1997. It is named after social reformer Thanthai Periyar E V Ramasamy. The university got 12(B) and 2f status from the University Grants Commission (UGC) and was accredited by NAAC with B+ grade in 2007, which was upgraded to ‘A’ during the reaccreditation in May 2015.
