In India we have almost 1700 dialects and almost 100 languages, now it is important to promote sports. Not only this if the various teams at district level keeps on playing form one end to the other but also it can be a great means of national integration.
Sports gives us occasions to celebrate victory and also strength to accept defeat. It teaches us sportsmenship, according to PM Modi.
PM Modi said that Sports has spread its wings to glamour. People wants to send their kids for sports activity. Hardwork, dedication and practice should be the main interest for learning of sports.
PM Modi gave his unique definition of sports, S-Skill; P- Perseverance; O-optimism; R- Resilience; T-tenacity; S-Stamina. Defeat in the sports teaches you a lot. One who plays will win or lose. One who doesn’t play the sports is in no state to win.
