PM Modi’s Discovery TV episode to air on 12 August
Bear Grylls is popularly known as the fearless and renowned adventurer who hosts the popular television show ‘Man vs Wild’ on Discovery Channel. On the other hand, PM Modi is known as the daring and energetic Prime Minister of the world’s largest democracy. So, just imagine how this combination of Bear Grylls and PM Modi will work? Well, for us it sounds pretty amazing!!
The whole world is going to watch the historic Discovery Exclusive, ‘Man Vs Wild with Bear Grylls & PM Modi.’
This special episode was shot in the Jim Corbett National Park, and is going to be a “frank and freewheeling journey”. This episode will throws light on wildlife conservation along with highlighting environmental change issues.
Bear Grylls has also shared a small clip from the episode on his Twitter account, where PM Modi can be seen riding a small dinghy in a river along with the show host.
Grylls wrote in his twitter post: “People across 180 countries will get to see the unknown side of PM @narendramodi as he ventures into Indian wilderness to create awareness about animal conservation & environmental change. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, regarding the show and this special episode said, “For years, I have lived among nature, in the mountains and the forests. These years have a lasting impact on my life. So when I was asked about a special programme focussing on life beyond politics and that too in the midst of nature I was both intrigued and inclined to take part in it.”
He added, “For me, this show presents a great opportunity to showcase to the world India’s rich environmental heritage and stress on the importance of environment conservation and living in harmony with nature.
