Police in Varanasi has field a complaint against Bollywood Actor Sunny Deol along with director Chandra Prakash Dwivedi for abusing in his upcoming movie Mohalla Asssi. The movie is based on Dr. Kashinath Singh’s popular Hindi novel Kashi Ka Assi, a satire on the commercialization of the pilgrimage city, and fake gurus that the lure foreign tourists.

The complaint has been filed by the social organization at Bhelupur police station on Sunday.
The movie is based in a great and historical Mohalla by the ghat on the southern end of Banaras. Also starring Ravi Kishen and Sakshi Tanwar, the film is set in the post-independence period.
Sunny Deol plays the lead role of Sanskrit teacher and an orthodox religious priest while Sakshi Tanwar plays his wife.
