Portland Timbers midfielder Darlington Nagbe was tackled by LA Galaxy midfielder Nigel de Jong

On Sunday football match, Portland Timbers midfielder Darlington Nagbe was tackled in the 76th minute by LA Galaxy midfielder Nigel de Jong.As bad as this looks, The MLS refree only show the yellow card to the LA Galaxy midfielder Nigel de Jong which was very shamefull. Unfortunately, this didn’t look like a yellow after Nagbe cannot put weight up on his ankle and had to be taken off the pitch via wheelchair.

This is not the first time that a player is hit by the LA Galaxy midfielder Nigel de Jong. Nigel de Jong has been the accused of playing dirty game in the football match.

Portland Timbers’s officials were very angry on the Refree’s yellow card to the Nigel de Jong. They wanted to red for the Nigel de Jong. Referee Allen Chapman gave de Jong a yellow card for the challenge.

After the match over Nigel de Jong reached out to Nagbe for apologize for the incidents. After this he also meet with the reporters and told the about it.

Nigel de Jong said that it was not my intention to hurt him but when a ball come to in that situation everyone wants to get it with his 100%. It was a ball that came my way. It was 50-50 and normally I always have those balls. But I went over the ball and caught the ball a little bit and caught most of his ankle.  it was never my intention to hurt him. He’s a good kid. It is my sympathy towards him and he is a good guy and good player.

Portland timbers’s player Fanendo Adi scored the first goal for the team in 52nd minute of the game but Nat Borchers’s own goal in 84th minute and helped LA Galaxy  to draw the match with the rival team Portland Timbers 1-1 in Sunday’s late match on 10 April, 2016.

Diego Valeri’s diagonal pass set up Adi as he peeled away from the defensive back line and finished with a low right-footed shot — his fourth goal of the season.

Borchers made a diving attempt to clear Sebastian Lletget’s cross, but unintentionally smashed the header into his own team Timbers’ goal.

The Timbers have one win at StubHub Center in eight visits; the Galaxy extended their unbeaten run to 39 of the last 41 home games.

Galaxy defender Robbie Rogers left in the eighth minute due to a hip contusion. Rafael Garcia steped up in place of the injured of the Galaxy defender Robbie Rogers. Garcia showed that he is very dangerous player and he played several dangerous crosses that challenged the rival team Portland Timbers.

The match between the LA Galaxy and the Portland Timbers was very interested and excited.The fans of both team enjoyed the game very much.If Timbers’s player Nat Borchers didnot goal of own team, Portland Timbers team may be won the match. But the luck matters everywhere.
