Prime Minister Modi Will Launch A programme “70 Saal Azadi Zara Yaad Karo Kurbani on 9th August

PM Narendra Modi will launch a programme “70 saal Azadi, Zara Yad Karo Kurbani” on 9th August 2016. Venkaiah Naidu who is Union Information and Broadcasting Minister after a meeting of the BJP Parliamentary Party and said that the campaign is aimed to feel every person that nation is first and individual is secondary.

Venkaiah Naidu also added that It will provide an opportunity for the people to recall the supreme sacrifices made by freedom fighters during freedom struggle. “Tiranga Yatra” will be undertaken on 15th August 2016 as part of 70th Independence Day Celebrations to evoke nationalism and Patriotism.

The political leaders including the Parliament’s members and State Legislatures have been asked to take part in this “Tiranga Yatra” by carrying the National flag and visit their constituencies.

To make this 70th year of Independence special, PM Modi has been talking in the parliamentary party meetings held in the month of July. He spoke about his desires to make this year’s Independence Day exceptional. It is finally decided that in addition to the “Tiranga Yatra”, for the first time, “Bharat Parv” festival will be celebrated for six days long at Rajpath, India Gate beginning on 12th of August.

The Tiranga Yatra will be taken out from 15th August to 22nd August 2016. The Bharat Parv will be celebrated from 12th August to 17th August 2016. The Bharat Parv will also be joined by a musical extravaganza presented by the Armed Forces of India.

The National symbol India Gate will be enlightened with the tri-colors all through the festive period. The ministry of Tourism is taking all the responsibilities to hold this festival. The ministry of Tourism will be getting support from the ministry of Defence, Cultures and Textiles.

Over 100 food stalls from various parts of India are likely to be opened to provide the people the taste of India.
