PSEB Class 12 Maths paper leaked & canceled, exam to be held on March 31:The Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) Class XII Mathematics paper is reportedly has been reveal and leaked, which is the result of the canceled of the exam on the last Tuesday. Something which is very fascinating about the exam is that this Punjab School Education Board (PSEB), Class XII exam was canceled at what time examinees were already started on the examination halls and students were waiting for the question papers.
A total number of around 55,273 regular and 679 open school students were come out in the Mathematics exam of Class XII that was scheduled to start at 2 pm. Just minutes before the exam was all set to start, the board released a notification and asked the examination controllers not to open beforehand provided question papers, as new question papers are all set to come via e-mail.
So till 3 pm, all candidates were in a dilemma, when the final declaration of cancellation was eventually announced by the board.
The board has now rescheduled the paper on this 31st March and at the same time all set to begin the investigation in order to find out the main person means offender, who created this whole scene.
Rumors of the paper leak news were already going viral on the social media since Monday night, but no substantiation or proof was given from PSEB until Tuesday afternoon the news finally come to get the limelight.
In the middle of rumors, teachers and students now arrived at the examination centers, and even answer sheets were already distributed among all candidates.
The notification released by PSEB (a copy of which is with TOI) read as: ‘Today, March 20, the scheduled Maths paper — which was received by the controller of examination from banks — should not be opened. All regional examination controllers will be receiving a fresh paper via e-mail, printouts of which they should take and dispatch in signed and sealed envelopes to all schools, who shall also then put a receiving signature on the same. The old question paper packets should not be opened, and should be submitted along with the answer sheets after the exam.’
Soon after acceptance the notification, all examination controllers clump at the office of personal nodal officers, who was directed to give the prints of the necessary and needed number of question papers to all schools.
The PSEB secretary Hargunjeet Kaur, substantiate the paper leak, said: “The board came to know about the news of leaked paper through Whatsapp, which was confirmed after inquiry. Initially, the board decided to give a new paper. However, the process of printing them and providing it to all centers was difficult. Therefore, the board decided to cancel the exam, which is now rescheduled to March 31. The board has also initiated an investigation, which will be conducted by a team of senior officials. The board is also going to get an FIR lodged against unidentified accused in this context.”
At the same time as we’re on the subject, alongside with the Maths question paper of Class XII, answers to questions 6, 8, 17, 18, and the 21 which had as well gone viral on Whatsapp.
