PUBG Mobile Club Open 2019: Finals starts today in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

PUBG Mobile Club Open (PMCO) 2019 global finals which is presented  by Tencent Games and PUBG Corp. and sponsored by Vivo has officially kicked off today at the Putra World Trade Centre (PWTC), in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. A total of 16 teams from 10 regions across the globe will battle it out over the next three days for the championship to take home a part of USD 500,000.

The winning team of this tournament will take home $180,000, while the runner up will get $90,000. The third, fourth and fifth ranking teams will get $45,000, $23,000 and $12,000, respectively. Every chicken dinner will also fetch the team prize money of $5,000.

Representing India at the PMCO 2019 finals are team ‘Entity Gaming’ and team ‘SouL’ who battled in the regional qualifiers to move on in the finals, are from the South Asian region at the PMCO finals. PMCO 2019 finals which has started on November 30, will continue till December 1.

PUBG Mobile Club Open finals can be livestreamed from the official PUBG Mobile Esports YouTube channel. There are livestreams in different languages including English, Hindi and Thai. At the same time, users can also follow the social channels of PUBG Mobile to get the latest updates and rankings.

Finals start today in Malaysia

During the opening ceremony of PMCO Global Finals, Vincent Wang, General Manager of Global Publishing Department, Tencent Games, announced several upcoming game features for the year 2020. Vincent Wang announced a new milestone that PUBG MOBILE has surpassed another impressive milestone as more than 600 million downloads (excluding mainland China). Also, the announcement includes a new “colorblind” mode within the game to make it accessible to as many players as possible, and other features to help improve and protect a fair and even playing field for PUBG MOBILE.

Also, PUBG MOBILE released “Project: Ban Pan”, and to ask all players to protect the gaming environment of PUBG MOBILE together. The Project: Ban Pan has two main components: internal security system and new out of game resources.

Who is the winner of Pmco 2019?

The first day’s matches concluded with team BIGETRON RA taking the lead with the most amount of points, followed by TEAM QUESO and ENTITY GAMING rounding off the top three. The Entity Gaming are ranked third with 29 points while SouL is currently at the lower end with 15th rank.
