How to Download PUBG Lite?

PUBG Mobile Lite and PUBG PC Lite are available for players in select countries only, and, currently, the games do not boast specific date for a global launch. The most recent PUBG Lite news indicates that the global launch could happen before the end of 2019.

In the meantime, the official launch date has yet to be declared and has not been officially confirmed. There are several discussions on Discord as well as social media channels which recommend that the game may perhaps launch by the end of this month. There is also a probability that the game would launch for the duration of the Steam sale nearby June 25.

PUBG Mobile Lite

Built with Unreal Engine 4, PUBG Mobile Lite is a toned-down version of the original and is geared towards budget and mid-range phones. Instead of 100 players landing on a huge map, only 40 players will land on a 2 km X 2 km map, allowing for faster-paced gameplay. Moreover, despite being the ‘Lite’ version, the game still comes equipped with immersive sound and video along with realistic weapons for a first-class Battle Royale experience.

PUBG PC Lite

PUBG PC Lite is similar to the mobile version of the game, with it targeted to function on budget PCs that offer limited graphics and processing power. Unlike the mobile version of the game, players can experience Battle Royale action in regular PUBG maps.

For the Indian audience, where the craze for the game is so much, PUBG Lite is going to be a big deal, as one of the major reasons for the fame of the mobile version is affordability. Nowadays, smartphones are not very costly, because of which the game is very easy to access. PUBG Lite may possibly spark a related fire among PC operators who don’t have high-end performance hardware but on the other hand still want to experience the game.

PUBG LITE features: How is it different from PUBG?

— The biggest difference between PUBG and PUBG LITE is compatibility. You need a PC at least with a dedicated graphics card and a powerful processor to run the game. PUBG LITE can do without that – all you need is at least an Intel Core i3 processor and Intel HD Graphics 4000 with DirectX 11 graphics support.

— To make it compatible with low-end PCs, the developers have optimised the contents. That means you won’t get the extreme high-level graphics that you are accustomed to with the full version on PC.

— The gameplay physics is also supposed to be pretty similar to the one in the PC version.

— Instead of multiple maps, PUBG LITE will only come with Sanhok, Miramar and Erangel. The snowy map of Vikendi isn’t available in this version yet.

— Players will be able to play in multiple modes – Solo, Duo and Team.

— PUBG LITE will only require 4GB of space on your PC.

PUBG Lite is a free version of Battlegrounds which is especially meant to be improved and enhanced playable on low-end computers by having important cutbacks in graphic fine points along with other features, but is otherwise feature far-reaching with the complete game. This version of PUBG is intended to be played in areas where the game’s minimum specifications may be problematic or hard for average players to attain, like areas in Southeast Asia, with a beta launch first released in Thailand in the month of January 2019.
