Sony made an announcement on Tuesday in which it said that the most addictive and most played game ‘Player Unknown’s Battlegrounds’ also popularly known as ‘PUBG’ is going to be launched on the PS4 (Play Station 4) on 7th December 2018. The game was first released in PC followed by Xbox.

The base game will have 2 editions: Disc edition and Looter’s edition which will be available in $30 on the PS4. The other 2 edition of the game will be “Survivor’s edition” which will be sold in $60 and “Champion’s edition” which will be sold in $90. Both the edition will include G-coin and in-game rewards respectively. “Survivor’s edition” Includes: Base Game, Survival Pass: Vikendi, 2,300 G-Coin Pack, 20,000 BP and “Champion’s edition” Includes: Base Game, Survival Pass: Vikendi, 6,000 G-Coin Pack, 20,000 BP. The game is available for pre-ordering.

The PUBG in PS4 will have all the 3 maps – Erangel, Miramar and Sanhok and will also support HDR. According to the sources, PUBG PS4 will be introduced with a snow theme this season. All the major features like ranked system, event mode, custom matches, etc. will also be added in the game.

Tencent games and PUBG Corp have officially confirmed that ‘PUBG Mobile star Challenge’ will take place in Dubai at the end of this month. It will take place at the festival Arena in Dubai from 29th November to 1st December. The winning team will be awarded with $400,000. To participate in the Event, the player must have 1,000 followers on the streaming platform. More than 15,000 teams have applied for the challenge.
