This year, the Jersey cricket team toured Qatar in the month of October 2019 in order to play a three-match Twenty20 International (T20I) series. The matches are going on at the West End Park International Cricket Stadium in Doha.

The first two matches of the competition have been already held with Qatar having an unassailable 2-0 win against team Jersey.
Jersey used the 3-match series as the preparation for the 2019 ICC T20 World Cup Qualifier. The matches started from October 9 and will carry on till today, October 11 as today is the last match for this 3-match series.

Highlights: On the first match of the series, Jersey won the toss and elected to field. This 1st T20I was also the first match of Saqlain Arshad, Imran Ashraf (Qat) and Nick Greenwood (Jer), they all made their T20I debuts.

Highlights: On the second match of the series, Jersey won the toss and elected to bat. The match saw Qatar’s Muhammad Tanveer to emerge as the top-scorer as he scored 57 off 45 deliveries as well as remained unbeaten till the end of the match. Mohammed Rizlanm, on the other hand also gave him plenty support in the chase as he also scored a 27-ball 36 in order to make sure that Qatar overhauled the target securely.
