Mahira Khan was supposed as a fortunate girl when the story of her romancing Shah Rukh Khan in Raees created headlines. Mahira being a die-hard SRK aficionado was super excited to debut in Bollywood opposite the King of Ballads. She would be accompanying the likes of Deepika Padukone and Anushka Sharma, who also were lucky to have bagged their first venture opposite Shah Rukh. Yet unlike these charms, Mahira’s film is stuck. Raees was to release on the Eid this year and there was disputes and discussions about Salman Khan and SRK’s big battle at the box office. Raees got shifted to early next year but has failed to get a release day yet.
Mahira was expecting for a big kick-start in B’town with Shah Rukh Khan’s this flick, but now we discover that the actress’ thoughts towards her huge debut have turned little bitter. A source reported, “Mahira has been getting impressive offers in Bollywood, but she has engaged in a contract with the Raees producers that hinders her from taking on any new venture in Bollywood till the release of this movie.” Well, we bet that is not just an inopportune but also very critical circumstances for this Pakistani beauty.
On Eid this year, SRK while an interaction with the media flocks approved that his movie has failed to affirm a release date. Khan also continued that his makers are in conversations with Hrithik Roshan’s father Rakesh Roshan about the shift of dates. The Fan actor is eyeing for January 26, 2017, which Hrithik’s Kaabil has already declared as their film’s release date. The Republic Day weekend would be a perfect time for every big budget movie to release, quite like Eid and it is not so unexpected to see why Roshan Jr is not ready to shift.
