Realme 5 series launching in India on August 20, teased on Flipkart

Realme is leaving no stones unturned to take on the likes of Xiaomi in India. This year, Realme has launched several smartphones in India, the latest one is the Realme X that is being said to be one of the best smartphones to buy under Rs 20,000 right now in the country. Executing their plans to grab the market, the company has now confirmed that the Realme 5 series is launching in India on August 20 at 12:30 AM.

There are two phones under the Realme 5 series. One of them is said to be the Realme 5 while the other one is said to be the Realme 5 Pro. However, the company is yet to reveal the official name of the two phones.

Both the Realme 5 and the Realme 5 Pro are launching in India on August 20. The Flipkart teaser has revealed several details about the Realme 5 series. The teaser reveals that the Realme 5 series will come with quad rear cameras. This will be the first-ever time Realme is launching a quad-camera smartphone in the country.

The Flipkart teaser suggests that the four cameras on the Realme 5 series will be — primary, ultra-wide, super macro, and portrait. The company claims that the primary image sensor will be able to click great low-light pictures with a large aperture and pixel size. Realme further claims that the ultra-wide-angle lens will be able to capture the 119-degree field of view and let users capture 1.5x more area. The Realme 5 series is also said to click sharp and clear portrait shots. Meanwhile, the camera specification is yet to be revealed.

RealMe 5 Discount Sale-

The Realme 5-series will be a spiritual successor to the Realme 3-series. In almost all aspects we expect the Realme 5 series to be superior to the Realme 3 series. Meanwhile, the pricing of the Realme 5 and the Realme 5 Pro is yet to be revealed but considering the company’s past records the upcoming Realme 5 series will also come with an affordable price tag. However, the Pro version is of course expected to be expensive than the base Realme 5. Meanwhile, the company has also confirmed a 64MP camera phone last week, that will be launched before Diwali in India.
