The previous episode of the TV series Diya Aur Baati Hum begins with Sandhya became ready to go to the temple. She dressed like a bride and she was looking like a bride. She said to Sooraj that she is doing this to save her son Ved. She said she would finish this superstition and black faith, eventually to find out the truth.

Sooraj encouraged her for that. He said he is there with the support of Sandhya in order to expose the Mukteshwari Mata. Now Sooraj gave a gun to Sandhya to protect her.
Sandhya left and Sooraj is worry for Sandhya. Now Sandhya went there and collects s,ome evidences and she is having some proves now that is little proofs are not enough to expose Mukhteshwari Mata.
Somehow Sandhya manage to store some evidences of the Mukteshawri Mata on her camera and after coming home she decides to discuss about the same to Sooraj. Sooraj is stunned and happy to see that Sandhya is able to record the same and also she makes a DVD of it in order to see face of that Mukhteshwari Mata.
And now Sandhya call Bhabho, Soraj and Meenakshi in a single room and she organised a Laptop. They everybody watched on the laptop a woman is going on somewhere with group of people for any religious work. She covers her fce with Ghunghat and when the Ghunghat removed, Sooraj and Sandhya shocked to see there is a woman.
But they are shocked to see that Riddhi is also there with the strange woman so Sandhya thinks that Riddhi is might also involved with these blind faiths and all that.
In the mean time, Maasa is now having some problems with Emily, Emily husband try to resolve the same but all goes in vain as Maasa is still angry with Emily.
