Rohit Sharma: Scored 208* Against Sri Lanka, Makes History 3rd Double Century in ODI

Well, India’s Hitman Rohit Sharma is all set and once again he proved they why we call him “Hitman” of the team. As you all know that currently he is running the team as a captain and Rohit Sharma became the first batsman to score three double hundreds in One-Day Internationals. You all may know that he smashed 208* Not out today against Sri Lanka in the second ODI of the series in Mohali. This time Rohit makes own record better.

Also, if we talk about the record we must remember that It took Rohit just 36 balls to reach the 200-run mark after scoring his century. Also, this was his 16th ODI century. Also, if we talk about his batting record today then we can say that Indian skipper smashed 13 fours and 12 sixes but he changed his gear even after the first 100. The right-hander finished unbeaten on 208 off just 153 balls and became the second captain to register a double ton in ODI. As you all may know that Virender Sehwag is the first captain who scored (219 vs. West Indies) being the first one.

Reports are coming that India is already dominated the Sri Lankan team and surely they are going to win the match if the bowlers do their job. Rohit, who holds the highest individual score of 264 runs, got to his double ton in last over. He is the reason why India scored 392/4 and now Sri Lanka is playing and already lost 4 wickets in 124 runs.

As you may all know that Rohit completed his first double hundred against Australia in 2013 in Bengaluru and then in 2014, the talented right-hander scored 264 against Sri Lanka in Kolkata. Trailing 1-0 in the series, India were put to bat by Sri Lanka. Rohit along with Shikhar Dhawan added 115 runs for the opening wicket.
