The South Africa is leading the 5 match series by 1-0 on the back of Quinton De Cock storm. Proteas have momentum with them and now they will look to continue their winning momentum.

The second ODI may bring a couple of changes for the Proteas, southpaw right-handed batsman Hashim Amla is likely to return to the playing XI and Farhaan Behardien is expected to warm the bench.

The inclusion of Hashim Amla will also backdrop Rilee Rossouw down the batting order. There is a dark cloud hanging on the fitness of Dale Steyn as he was looking uncomfortable with his shoulder in the last ODI, although there is no official news about the injury of Steyn.

Apart from this, Faf Du Plessis is expected to enter the second ODI with the same bunch of player. It is a perfect opportunity for the proteas to continue their domination in world cricket after two years of downfall in International cricket which pushed them down in the ICC ODI rankings.

Australia Team Preview

The world champion handed the defeat in the first ODI and paid the price for the inexperienced bowling attack. Although, men in gold have the habit of making the comeback after losing the first encounter just like they did in the series against Sri Lanka.

Steven Smith must be disappointed with himself as he along with rest of the batsmen failed to make the contribution with the bat. The opening pair of Finch and Warner threw their wicket after getting good starts and middle order stumbled apart from Bailey and Hasting.

The inexperienced bowling unit was revealed as De Kock teared up Australi’s bowling unit. it was quite clear that Australia was missing Starc, Hazelwood, and Faulkner.

Meanwhile, series is alive and there is a possibility that Steven Smith’s men can make a comeback. Chris Tremain will mots likely replace Daniel Worrall and apart from this, Australi will field with the same playing XI
