His latest released “Sultan” was one of the most awaited movies of this year and finally proved its worth, when released on 6 July, a day before the Eid. Salman Khan and Anushka Sharma starer Sultan has collected Rs. 36.54 crores on its opening day and failed to break the record of “Happy New Year” for the highest collection on an opening day.

The Multistarer “Happy New Year” was released in 2014 and has the multi-stars like Shah Rukh Khan, Sonu Sood, Boman Irani and Deepika Padukone. This move still holds the record for the highest collection of Rs. 44.97 crores on its opening day.

Although, Sultan failed to break this record but it still holds the second place on this list and then earned Rs. 37.30 crores on the second day and thus, broke few more records in doing so.

Then, experts started assuming that whether Sultan will be available to collect 100 crores in the first three days or not.?

But now news are coming out that Sultan has made a collection of Rs. 31.50 crores on the third day and now has become the Salman’s biggest opening movie in the first three days.

Sultan has collected Rs. 105.34 cr in last three days and thus, breaking the record of Bajrangi Bhaijaan (102.60 cr) and Prem Ratan Dhan Payo ( 101.47 cr).

Although, again it has failed to break the record of Shah Rukh Khan starer “Happy New Year” who had collected Rs. 108.80 crore in the first three days of its release.

But, Sultan is looking all set to join the club of 150-200 crore as he is maintaining its collection same as since its release date. Well, Salman’s fans are loving Sultan and both Salman and Anushka are getting the equal amount of appreciation for their roles in this movie.

Now, its will be interesting to see, how far Sultan will go and will it be able to join the club of 200 crore movies?
