Bollywood star Shahid Kapoor may have been keeping mum about his impending marriage to the city girl Mira Rajput, but he is all set to tie knot with her today.The rocking wedding preparations including the design of the card and costume already goes, 500 guests have been invited. According to the wedding card that surfaced online earlier this week, the-34-year old Haider star, will marry his 21-year-old fiancee in Gurgaon on 7 July.

Shahid Kapoor Ties Knot With Mira Rajput Today
Designer Ravish Kapoor, who is behind the turquoise and off-white invite, said the color combination, detailing and gifts accompanying the wedding card were Shahid’s choice. “The credit for color combination goes to Shahid as he was very particular about colours. From the peacock logo to the font, everything was chosen by Shahid. “Initially it was his family, who were involved but when the sample was shown to Shahid, he got involved regarding the changes, the colour combination, what gifts to go with it,” Ravish told a leading news agency.
The card and the gifts were packed in the form of a tea blend as Shahid’s actor father Pankaj Kapur is a tea lover. “Pankaj sir is a tea connoisseur, so we thought let’s make a tea blend for them. It is a special blend. It has tea and honey,” said the designer, whose previous clients were Shilpa Shetty and Hrithik Roshan.
The traditional golden color is missing from the invite and Ravish said it was Shahid’s decision to have an understated, no-bling card.

Shahid looked sophisticated in a deep red kurta, a bandhgala and pyjamas, while Mira looks resplendent and graceful in a lime yellow lehenga. A picture featuring Shahid Kapoor dancing with his bride-to-be Mira Rajput at their sangeet ceremony on Monday goes viral, leaving Shasha fans mesmerized. The female fans definitely had heartbroken stuffs.
The sangeet, reportedly held at a Chhatarpur farmhouse, saw the duo matching steps with each other. Shahid’s friend and celebrity photographer Rohan Shreshtha took to twitter to share the image, and wrote alongside it: “Kill it SK.”

The close friends and family will be attain the nuptial-ceremony and some of the friends of Shahid from Bollywood will graced the occasion. Although, a separate grand celebration planned for the Hindi film fraternity in Mumbai on July 12 which is touted as grand reception for Shahid-Mira marriage.
However, the guests from the tinsel town who will attain the function has not reveal till now.
