New start ups are knocking the Android market, yesterday we talk about Wileyfox which is also a new smart phone maker. Today news is all around that Chinese start up Smartisan has just launched their handset called U1 or JianGuo. This handset will be available in the market at the price of 899 Yuan or US $140 or INR 9,200.

This smart phone boasts its design quite similar to that of Mi4i by Xiaomi. The body of this handset is made up of plastic and not everything is similar to that of Mi4i. Design of its rear panel is quite unique. There are wide varieties of colors through which one can chose the color which they want. The rear panel also flaunts eye catchy grooved vertically stripped design with the team logo in the middle. These vertically strip design let one handle the smart phone with ease and provides better grip.
It is 5.5” handset which comes along with 1080p screen resolution. It also flaunts corning gorilla glass 3 protection to protect the screen from any damages. It is powered by a quad core processor which is clocked at the frequency of 1.5GHz and another quad core processor clocked at the clock frequency of 1.0GHz.
The processor is coupled along with 2GB of internal RAM and is based on Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 chipset. It proffer two options in terms of internal memory, one is of 16GB and other of 32GB. It is not yet clear whether it will provide storage for external memory or not.
It houses 13MP of rear shooter which comes along with f/2.2 aperture. There is also 5MP of shooter present at the front which can be used for clicking selfies and for video calling. It supports dual SIM option and accommodates connectivity features like Wifi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, USB, GPS etc. It supports 4G LTE connectivity and also boards NFC as a connectivity option.
It houses 2900mah battery at the back.
It operates on its own Operating system i.e Smartisan which is a highly customizable operating system. Good thing about this OS is that it injects the features like disc scratching in music apps, integrated business card scanner, let one sort apps in multiple ways even according to the different color as well etc.
It is not sure whether this handset is exclusively made for china or will hit the shelves of global market as well. 16GB memory variant will be available at the tag of INR9,200 and 32GB will be priced at INR 10,500. Users can use this handset from the starting of 1st September 2015.
