On Wednesday, Union Textile Minister Smriti Irani said that my application for cabin crew position was rejected by Jet Airways because Jet Airways felt that I did not have a good personality at all.
The Television actress turned politician, at her witty best, also said that thanks to that rejection by the Jet Airways, she got a job at McDonald’s and the “rest is history”.
She said that I do not know that how many people know that one of the my first jobs that I wanted that was cabin crew job at Jet Airways. I was rejected because I was told I do not have a good personality. I thank God for your rejection. After that, I got a job at McDonald’s and the rest is history.
Union Textile Minister Smriti Irani, speaking at an awards function organised by the Air Passengers Association of India, said that she was joining the celebration as a passenger.
The comments of Irani came after she presented an award to a Jet Airways official.
Before the Cabinet reshuffle, Smriti Irani was the Human Resources department Minister, but now She is the new Union Textile Minister.
