Srinagar: Pak Lashkar Terrorist Snatches Policeman’s Rifle & Kills Cop, Escapes: – Well, reports are coming that a Pakistani militant who belongs to Lashkar-e-Taiba escaped after shooting down 2 of the three policemen who were accompanying him to Srinagar’s government-run Sri Maharaja Hari Singh Hospital (SMHS) for the medical check-up on Tuesday. This is one of the most unexpected things happened today and reports are coming that one of the injured cop died and another one is battling for life in a City hospital.
Sources are saying that the cop was identified as Head-Constable Mushtaq Ahmed. Police reports are saying that Pakistani national Naveed Jutt alias Abu Hazulla who was lodged in Srinagar Central Jail was along with five other prisoners taken to the hospital for the medical check-up on the advice of the jail authorities. Naveed was caught in Kulgam in south Kashmir in 2014.
Reports are coming that the terrorist Abu Hanzulla alias Naveed Jatt fled after the assailants were arrested a few months ago in Shopian. Also, as per the reports the police tried to get them all for the medical check-up at SMHS Hospital and from they escaped after snatching the handgun of a police officer.

The police sources said that during the preliminary investigation it was learned that Naveed himself snatched Carbon rifle from a policeman and opened fire. Also, the reports added that “The cops were accompanying the detenue for a check-up when gunmen who were apparently waiting for them opened fire. Naveed himself snatched the weapon of one of the policeman and opened fire.”

Also, the reports are coming that the J&K police and CRPF reinforcements started their search for the escaped terrorist. Searches are going in the area and launched a manhunt for the detente and gunmen, the sources said.
